Sport Partnership Survey - North East
VONNE is currently working in partnership with NAVCA on its Strategic Sports Partnership project looking at improving engagement between the VCS sports sub sector, VCS infrastructure and statutory partners such as Sport England. As part of this project NAVCA has produced a survey to help map VCS agencies work in relation to sport and active recreation.
Therefore they are particularly keen to hear from infrastructure organisations and agencies which don’t currently work with sport but might like to in future. This will help identify areas of need in relation to sports issues and opportunities to get sports clubs and trusts better engaged in mainstream VCS activity and provision.
The results of the regional survey will be used to establish a baseline level of engagement with sports organisations for the project which will inform the development of a programme of future partnership activities. It will also be an opportunities to profile the region’s good practice in this area.
