Dear Colleagues,
Welcome to the Sunderland Community Network formerly known as the Sunderland Community Development Network. We are delighted to announce that Sunderland CVS have been chosen as the lead organisation to support the Network delivery for the coming year. The SCN will therefore operate from Sunderland CVS Offices and can be contacted on the same number 0191 565 1566.
The new SCN staff have now all started work. You can meet the staff and get all the latest news at the newly re-vamped SCN website.
- MEMBERSHIP: Anyone interested in joining the Sunderland Community Network will have to apply for membership. Visit the SCN website to download a form.
- REPRESENTATION:- Representation to the LSP is to be maintained until the new membership process has been completed (End March 2007). We anticipate that by June / July 2007, earlier if possible we can start to look at re-election of SCN delegates to the LSP including the SCN Steering Group.
- SCN WEBSITE: - The website has been updated and will be the home for all news relating to SCN. Anyone with information that they would like to put on the site can do so by calling SCVS on 0191 5651 566 and speaking to a member of the SCN team.
