Balloon Modeling OCN Level 2

Date:Wednesday 10 June 2009
Location: Sunderland CVS
Cost: £115 per participant which includes VAT and OCN accreditation fees

Many community groups, schools, organisations and individuals are using balloon modeling as both a fundraising tool and a way of proving something extra for young people, their parents and the community. Some organisations have been providing balloon modeling courses as a way of encouraging self esteem and confidence building skills for their community too.

This course provides the theory and background to balloon modeling. It is mainly a practical based course providing exercises in the art itself and proving that everyone can produce beautiful balloon modeling items and have fun too!

Fundraising made Easy

With school or organisation funding not always stretching to the extra things that you would like to provide many staff are now faced with the need to look outside their own funding and raise money in a variety of ways. K’NEX for Hands on Learning for Tutors OCN Level 2

This accreditation will train teachers, tutors and other educators how to use the K’NEX construction kit to help children to develop a better understanding of technology, science and numeracy, and improve their creativity skills and problem-solving skills.

Rising to the Challenge (Moving Away From Grant Dependency: Assets and Enterprise)

Although not a professional Nail Artist qualification this one day course does provided the theory and background to nail art. It is mainly a practical based course providing exercises in the art itself and proving that everyone can produce successful nail art and have fun too!

Key Training

Key Training is nationwide training and apprenticeship provider with over 30 years experience of delivering government funded training and qualifications.

Key Training is currently helping many voluntary, public and private sector organisations cut the cost of staff training by offering the following:

NVQ level 2 & 3 Advice & Guidance
NVQ level 2 & 3 I.T.Q (Microsoft certified)
NVQ level 3 Management
NVQ level 2 Team Leader
NVQ level 2 & 3 Business Administration
NVQ level 2 & 3 Customer Service

Adult Literacy & Numeracy

All of the above are available with government funding and are work based. There is also wage compensation available for paid staff completing one of the programmes. The funding is available for staff and volunteers and learning can commence 2-3 weeks after sign up.
